WWE Rumors: Examining Latest Buzz Around Seth Rollins, Paige and More
Clash of Champions has come and gone, and in its wake, fans of World Wrestling Entertainment are left wondering what the Raw brand has in store for them going forward.
One thing it did not have in store on Monday was in-ring activity from Seth Rollins, who left the Sept. 25 pay-per-view extravaganza nursing a rib injury.
The Architect is not the only Superstar to be hobbled, preventing him from competing inside the squared circle.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The saga of Paige continued this week as rumors circulated that she was backstage at Clash of Champions and Raw but was not used. Thanks to a new report, we know why.
Then there was Cesaro, who probably should have been injured after a wicked tope that ended disastrously for him. He had fun with the entire ordeal as he took to Twitter to address the botched high-risk maneuver.
Seth Rollins Injured
In the wake of Clash of Champions, rumors of a potential Rollins injury were in abundance, creating questions as to whether or not he would be looking at another lengthy absence.
On Monday morning, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported the injury but was lacking specifics.
"No update on Seth Rollins past he was needing medical attention after taking the super gut buster from Kevin Owens in the match last night. He was having X-rays done earlier today," he wrote.
As fans who spurned the presidential debate Monday night and tuned into Raw found out, the injury was to the ribs and was enough to keep Rollins out of action.
There was very little specificity in terms of the extent of the injury, but given the lack of time frame mentioned, expect Rollins to be back in the ring sooner than later as he chases the WWE Universal Championship held by Kevin Owens.
Paige Not Cleared

Paige is officially back from suspension and has been hanging out backstage at WWE Raw brand events but has not been used on television to this point. As PWInsider.com (h/t Wrestling Inc's Marc Middleton) reported this week, a previous injury has kept her from returning to the squared circle.
"Paige has been backstage at Raw for a few weeks now but she has not appeared on TV because she hasn't been cleared," Middleton wrote.
Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Reddit) previously reported that Paige was suffering from nerve damage in her back and neck that was keeping her sidelined:
"Regarding Paige, there may be some nerve damage regarding her back and shoulder issues. I was told her neck issue is similar to what a lot of the guys have had that had serious problems where the problem has led to weakness in the right arm which was the first stage for some major issues with a lot of the guys.
"
The fact that she is on the road, appearing backstage for television tapings, indicates that the injury may not be quite as bad as Meltzer suggested. If it is, Paige may be away from the ring even longer as she seeks treatment for her ailment.
Ryback: MMA Fighter?

Meltzer, staying busy this week, reported that former WWE Superstar Ryback is in talks with Bellator MMA for a potential fight deal.
While some could jump to the conclusion that Ryback will follow in the footsteps of Bobby Lashley and fight for the MMA promotion, Bellator CEO Scott Coker suggests a deal is not imminent. "Spoke, but nothing close," he told Meltzer.
It would be incredibly unrealistic to suggest that Ryback would prosper in mixed martial arts. CM Punk was dismantled by relative unknown Mickey Gall at UFC 203, and that was after training for over a year to compete.
Ryback may have been one of the most powerful wrestlers in WWE, but strength alone does not win fights. Even if he does sign with the promotion, do not expect big things—or even good things—until he can commit to the full-time training necessary to even attempt to succeed.
Cesaro: Master Tweeter
On Sunday night, Cesaro landed on his head during a botched tope attempt, leading many fans to fear for his safety.
On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to address the moment with an extraordinary tweet:
Now if only he could translate that humor to his promos, he would be a top guy in Vince McMahon's traveling circus.
