Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com announced that Mathis was ready to play against Los Angeles in Week 4.

Latest on Mathis' Practice Status

Saturday, Oct. 1

The Cardinals announced Mathis was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Mathis Diagnosis Revealed

Tuesday, Sept. 13

According to Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910, Mathis has a sprained foot and was expected to miss somewhere between one and four weeks at the time of his diagnosis.

Mathis' Absence Delivers Blow to Cardinals' Line

While it's unclear how long the 34-year-old will be out, Earl Watford should draw starts in Mathis' place so long as he's sidelined.

Entering Week 4, Watford has made 19 starts since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.

The Cardinals have unexpectedly jumped out to a 1-2 start, so Mathis' presence will be critical as the team looks to get back on track.
