Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin Battles Through Defender for 25-Yard Catch
Kyle NewportSep 19, 2016
The Carolina Panthers made it to the Super Bowl last season despite not having Kelvin Benjamin to throw passes to.
Now that he's healthy and back on the field, the 6'5", 245-pound receiver is doing what he does best—making plays.
On 3rd-and-7 during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton took a shot to Benjamin. Even though he had 49ers defensive back Jimmie Ward all over him, Benjamin maintained concentration and found a way to haul in the catch as he fell to the ground.
