Andrew GouldSep 15, 2016

WNBA icon Tamika Catchings is wrapping up the final season of her decorated 16-year career. On Sunday, the lifelong Indiana Fever forward will play her final regular-season game.

Fellow Indiana hoops star Paul George wants a packed house sending her off.

The Pacers All-Star purchased 5,000 tickets to the Fever's season finale and is giving them away. Per NBA.com, fans can claim up to four balcony tickets at Bankers Life Fieldhouse starting Friday at noon.

According to USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt, George and Catchings are also collaborating on a community public forum:

Catchings is second on the WNBA's all-time scoring leaderboard behind Tina Thompson. The 37-year-old is also three rebounds shy of eclipsing Lisa Leslie atop the career ledger.

NBA stars have promoted the WNBA in hopes of garnering the league deserved attention. As a future Hall of Famer says farewell, George is making it easy for everyone to watch her one more time.
