Fan Loses Tooth After Yasiel Puig Tosses Ball into Yankee Stadium Stands

Los Angeles Dodgers fan Alyssa Gerharter likely won't soon forget her trek to Yankee Stadium this week. 

As Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reported, Gerharter attended Monday's game between the Dodgers and New York Yankees in the Bronx. Los Angeles outfielder Yasiel Puig caught the final out to secure the 8-2 win, and he celebrated by tossing the ball into a crowd of Dodgers fans. 

Gerharter put her hands up as she saw the ball approaching. Unfortunately, it missed her hands and hit her mouth, leaving her with one fewer tooth.

Gerharter returned to Yankee Stadium for Wednesday's game, and Puig posed with her after the Dodgers defeated the Yankees 2-0.  

We assume that photo is worth more than any used baseball.
