Ron Rivera Fell Asleep During Monday's Rams-49ers Game
Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera wasn't impressed with Monday's game involving the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.
Per Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, Riverboat Ron told reporters Wednesday that he couldn't remain awake until the end of the contest.
"Unfortunately, I stayed up and watched," he said. "And the reason why I say unfortunately is I fell asleep somewhere in the beginning of the fourth quarter. But I got to see three quarters of it."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You can't fault Rivera for failing to keep his eyes open, even though the Panthers play the 49ers on Sunday. The game was largely a bore after halftime, and the fourth quarter didn't begin until roughly 1 a.m. in North Carolina.
We still don't know Rams coach Jeff Fisher's excuse for falling asleep during the second half, but that's another story entirely.
