Teenager Gian Mamuyac Blocks Stephen Curry 3-Point Attempt
NBA players far too often have fun at the expense of overmatched kids. This time around, however, a 17-year-old Filipino player got the last laugh over the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry.
Gian Mamuyac, a member of the Philippines’ U-18 national team, did something few NBA professionals could fathom: stay in front of Curry and block his three-point attempt.
The two-time MVP can't blame the rejection on complacency. He created space with a step-back move that has humiliated many NBA players over the years.
Mamuyac, however, maintained his ground and stuffed the star's shot.
Curry takes the swat in stride, but he received a do-over opportunity ending in more predictable fashion.

One would think he would be used to defeat after the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals.
