Ben Zobrist Belts out 'Let It Go' with Daughter at Disneyland

Andrew GouldAug 27, 2016

The Chicago Cubs had Thursday off before beginning a weekend road series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ben Zobrist used the free time to take his daughter to Disneyland.

The 35-year-old infielder filed his Father of the Year submission with a passionate duet of "Let It Go" from Frozen. He wasn't just lip-syncing either.

"Let It Go" is more than just a catchy Disney song; it's a life philosophy for the patient hitter. He has made his career as a sabermetric darling by letting bad pitches go.

Because of his career 12.2 percent walk rate and 40.0 WAR, per FanGraphs, his .267 batting average has never been an issue.
