Aly Raisman Hangs Rio Medals Around David Ortiz's Neck Before Throwing 1st Pitch

The Team USA ladies are showing off their strength and their shine.

First Katie Ledecky and now Aly Raisman have returned from Rio to their hometowns victorious, celebrating a red, white and blue win with America's favorite pastime.

But not before handing over their plentiful prizes.

Prior to throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park on Friday, the Needham, Massachusetts, native and world-class gymnast hung her three medals, one gold and two silver, around Red Sox star David Ortiz's neck.

And despite the designated hitter's familiarity with big-time accomplishments, he proved his admiration for the 22-year-old's achievements by slouching over the weight of all her hardware (or those medals were significantly heavier than expected).
