Max Scherzer Makes No-Look, Between-the-Legs Stop
Zac WassinkAug 25, 2016
Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer didn't even need to look to prevent Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop from earning a hit in the fifth inning of Thursday's game at Nationals Park.
With one out, nobody on and his team leading 1-0, Scherzer delivered a 1-1 offering. Schoop hit it back toward the mound, and the Nats hurler reacted with his back facing home plate by placing his glove between his legs.
Scherzer completed the save before throwing to first to retire Schoop.
