What If #1: What If The Rock Returned To Wrestling Full Time

To clarify, this article is not a prediction or even an idea of a return, just an examination of what i would think would happen if he ever did make a return full time.

Imagine that the Rock gets tired of making family movies, he begins to realize that he belongs in the ring and has enough money to not care about the pay from movies.  Then he calls vince and says "Finally the Rock will come back to the WWE".

Opening segment for Raw has Randy Orton in the ring as WWE champion.  He is standing tall claiming that he has beaten everyone the WWE has and that there is no more competition for him left to face.  sunddenly throughout the arena we hear a familiar entrance music begin to play "CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING".

The fans erupt out of their seats as the rock appears on the ramp in his brahma bull shirt, workout pants and sunglasses.  He waits fifteen minutes for the applause to die down before holding the mic up and declaring "Finally the Rock has come back home".

Another fifteen minutes of cheering before he makes his way to the ring.  Orton stares him down as the Rock can barely be heard over the crowd, finally the crowd settles to hear what the great one has to say.

The Rock goes onto say that Randy Orton is nothing but a jabrone and that hes one Rock Bottom away from losing the title, and asks what Randy thinks about that.  Orton fumes as he is being stared down face to face by The Rock

Orton begins to talk only to have the Rock declare "It doesnt matter hwat you think".  More cheers.  The Rock goes onto say that he has beaten Hogan, Orton hasnt, the rock has beaten austin, orton hasnt, the rock has beaten everyone and their mothers.  Orton finally snaps and tries to attack only to be spine bustered into the ring. 

The Rock lines up for the peoples elbow but legacy come out for the save.  The rock stands tall while Legacy and Orton head to the back.  The rock picks up the title, gives a little eyebrow action and head to the back. 

A title match is declared for later that night.  Orton is screaming at whatever guest host is on at the time and they say to him, too bad, you have a title match tonight.

As orton makes his way to the ring with Legacy The announcers make sure people know this is Rocks first match in over five years.  The rocks music hits and we see him step out in his signature trunks and a new Rock shirt holding the title.  The two men square off only for the rock to hold up his hand signifying to orton, "Just Bring It".  they lock up and Orton gets the advantage.

Throughout the match they trade off offense until the Rock hits the Rock bottom after countering an RKO.  He lines up for the peoples elbow and Legacy makes the save getting Orton disqualified.  While the Rock is being beaten by all three men, Cena runs in and clears house. 

He and Rock stand tall until, The rock hoists up Cena and drops him in the Rock bottom.  He grabs the mic and tells Cena he is the first third generation wrestler in the WWE and doesnt need his help.  Show ends with Rock standing in the corner with the crowd going nuts as he celebrates in tradional Rock style.
