
Elena Delle Donne Comments on Her Sexuality in 'Vogue' Interview
WNBA superstar Elena Delle Donne has publicly commented on her sexuality for the first time in the August issue of Vogue.
In Vogue, per Trish Bendix of AfterEllen.com, Delle Donne's partner Amanda Clifton is identified as her fiancee, and the pair split their time living in Chicago, where Della Donne plays for the Chicago Sky, and Wilmington, Delaware, where Della Donne's family lives.
Delle Donne has often shied away from the spotlight, so there are not many details provided about the two other than that they co-run De11e Donne Academy clinics that help young girls on and off the court.

The 2015 WNBA MVP, Delle Donne joins a small list of active athletes who have publicly come out as gay, including fellow WNBA star Brittney Griner, UFC bantamweight Liz Carmouche and boxer Orlando Cruz.
Delle Donne, who is preparing to play for the United States women's national basketball team at the 2016 Olympics, has been one of the most prominent female athletes in this country dating back to her college days at Delaware.
Since the Sky selected her with the No. 2 overall pick in 2013, Delle Donne has been named to the WNBA All-Star team three times and All-WNBA First Team once.
