The WWE Loves The Big Guy/little Guy Tag Teams Dont They?
One thing ive noticed in the 22 years i have spent watching wrestling is that there will always be tag team combinations of a big power house teaming with a little high flyer or technician. lets look at todays teams
Big show and chris jericho- The current undisputed tag champs are certainly a great combo. they both have experience, skill and heat from the fans. While jericho seems to be playing the coward role he still amazes in the ring/
Cryme tyme, shad and JTG- These guys have been in the WWE a couple years now and still have yet to see gold, without stealing it that is. They have good fan reactions and have a great look. JTG is clearly the better wrestler but Shad has his moments as well. i wouldnt be surprised to see them win the belts before the next mania.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The hart dynasty- The wwe is certainly milking the whole next generation thing with this team. Taking into acocunt that they are both still green in the ring they have shown alot of improvement in the last six months. They even had a main event match on smackdown, albeit against one man, Jeff Hardy.
Mark Henry and MVP- These two seem to be gaining alot of momentum going into their feud with the champs. while they may have lost their first two title matches its only a matter of time in my opinion. after all, why give the two new outfits if they wont be together for awhile.
Batista and Rey- Rey makes his return soon and the animal already lined up a match for the tag belts with him. These two make a very entertaining team in my opinion as they both bring something special to their matches.
Now lets look to the past teams of big and small
The original hart foundation- Bret and Jim were by far one of the best teams in the 80s and early 90s. between Brets skill and the anvils strength they couldnt be stopped.
HBK and diesel- These two were genuinely best friends which is why they worked so well together. the seven foot nash and the cocky shawn made for some very great television.
British bulldog and Owen Hart- In my opinion they werent given enough of the spotlight since they teamed during the new Hart foundation stable and were usually looked at as number 2 and 3 of the group. They will both be missed greatly.
Hogan and Edge- While this was less than ten years ago i still consider them in the past. Hogan made a run in the WWE and was teamed with Edge to win the gold from billy and chuck. this was great TV as Edge was just getting big and Hogans career was just winding down.
Last but not least- Hogan and Savage- Savage may have looked big compared to some guys, but not when he stood next to Hulk. These two were the most popular wrestlers in the 80s so it only made sense to have them team up, eventually they both went to WCW and were in the NWO but no one will forget the Red and Yellow team of the 80s.
So there you have, a shortlist of some great tag teams that feature powerhouses combined with quicker guys to make great entertainment.
Who is your favorite big and small team?
