OVER 9 Cleveland Indians/Boston Red Sox:
Both teams are wrapping up the season with completely different agendas. Boston is headed to the playoffs again and is trying to get their work in before the playoffs start. Cleveland has fired manager Eric Wedge and are looking to send him off with a few wins before they begin their search for his replacement.

Jeremy Sowers (6-10, 5.09) has struggled mightily of late, giving up 11 earned runs in his last 6 innings. He’s a former #1 draft pick who is running out of time as far as making an impact.

Daisuke Matsuzaka (3-6, 6.08) is probably only going to pitch 5 innings just to get ready for the playoffs. He’s bounced back ok since returning from injury and is looking to be Boston’s #3 man in October.
