Yankees Closer Aroldis Chapman Hurls 105 MPH Fastball vs. Orioles

Breaking news: Aroldis Chapman can make baseballs go fast.

The New York Yankees closer has thrown most of MLB's fastest pitches in 2016 (shoutout to Mauricio Cabrera of the Atlanta Braves for cracking the top 10). And while incredible, it's not exactly new.

Here he is lighting up the radar gun as a member of the Cincinnati Reds in 2011, reaching a blistering 106 mph:

Chapman was at it again Monday night against the Baltimore Orioles, dealing a 105 mph heater to O's shortstop J.J. Hardy in the ninth inning.

The Yankees went on to win 2-1, and Chapman got the save.
