Derek Jeter Named 'Captain' of Jordan Brand Baseball and Training in New Deal

The Captain has re-signed with the Jordan Brand in a deal that makes him just that: the Captain of Jordan Baseball and Training.

The brand announced Tuesday that it had struck a deal to keep Derek Jeter on board, creating new roles for the retired New York Yankees slugger that will involve building the Jordan Brand family of baseball athletes, per the announcement.

The continuation of his "RE2PECT" line was also greenlighted, with new threads and shoes set to hit Jordan stores in spring 2017.
