Moss Activated From DL

Tuesday, August 2

Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reported that Moss has been activated, along with shortstop Jhonny Peralta.

Moss Provides Cardinals With Left-Handed Power Threat

In his first full season in St. Louis, the 6'1", 210-pound left-handed batter has been the Cardinals' best power hitter with 17 home runs and 40 RBI.

He's also proved his worth with his versatility in the field, as he's played first base, left field and right field throughout the season.

Moss isn't a star player, but his return to the lineup gives the Cardinals another capable power bat as it looks to earn a wild-card bid in the National League.
