Massive Hailstorm Floods Coors Field Tunnel, Delays Blue Jays-Rockies Game

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Colorado Rockies got their game in Tuesday at Coors Field, but for a time, the contest was in serious doubt.

Mother Nature hit Coors Field...and hit it hard.

You wouldn't think a game would be played after a storm like that. But thanks to great work by the grounds crew, there was baseball played in Denver on Tuesday night:

According to MLB.com, the rain delay officially lasted two hours and 41 minutes. For Toronto, it was worth the wait because the Blue Jays ran away with a 14-9 victory.
