WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for June 27
From Dean Ambrose's issues with his old ally to The New Day's monstrous new rivals, feuds in their early stages are set to intensify on WWE Raw.
In the second week of Ambrose holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he is sure to face increased aggression from Seth Rollins. The New Day's issues with The Wyatt Family will escalate. Sasha Banks' pursuit of Charlotte and the women's title is sure to pick up, too.
With Extreme Rules now in the rearview mirror, WWE is in the midst of the slow march to the Battleground pay-per-view.

The build for the headline bout—Ambrose vs. Rollins vs. Reigns—will be incomplete. WWE suspended Roman Reigns last week for violating the company's talent wellness policy.
There has been no word on what substance led to his failed test, but from a booking standpoint, it doesn't matter. The company has to proceed for the next 30 days without the marquee star despite his place in the WWE title match.
Creativity will be key in facing that sudden challenge.
Tampa, Florida, will host Raw when it goes on the air at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network. The Raw preview on WWE.com provides a number of hints of how things will unfold Monday night.
News, Potential Spoilers
Natalya has been the subject of lot of speculation and rumors lately. Namely, there has been talk about her leaving WWE soon.
That would led fans to believe WWE would phase her out as it did with Wade Barrett earlier this year. Don't count on that, though.
Natalya responded to one of the reports, calling it "totally false" on Twitter:
She may not get ample airtime, but that has to do with WWE's struggles with booking the women's division rather than her position with the company.
The same goes for Paige. There was a ton of buzz last week surrounding the former Divas champion after pictures of her being handcuffed surfaced.
Alberto Del Rio reportedly told MLW Radio (NSFW language; h/t Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet) several details about the incident in question. Paige and Del Rio were apparently harassed at a restaurant and when the police where called, the authorities handcuffed everyone, including Paige.
If that's the case, Paige isn't in line for a suspension or a demotion. She'll appear on Raw if needed.
The battle for who will control Raw and SmackDown when the two brands split in July should heat up with two McMahons set to be in attendance. James Caldwell of Pro Wrestling Torch noted that both Stephanie McMahon and her brother Shane are among those advertised for Monday's Raw.
Battleground Build Continues
The Wyatt Family vs. The New Day rivalry has crept along slowly in its early stages. Expect the pace to quicken some on Monday night.
The tag team champions interrupted Bray Wyatt's return on last week's Raw. The Wyatt Family then called out The New Day from backstage on SmackDown days later.
A feud with enormous potential will now roll on, with WWE having to find the right balance of comedy and intensity in this story. New Day have plenty of more one-liners in their arsenal. The Wyatt Family have to be presented as monsters, though, not just the butt of the champs' jokes.
These teams' first two interactions avoided physicality. That is poised to change. Eventually, violence will have to accompany the banter.
Cena and Styles' feud will experience some evolution of its own. WWE continues to tease that Cena will enlist some allies to help him take on Styles and his cronies.
Last week, Cena believed he had a singles match with Luke Gallows before him. The Club, however, pounced on the babyface, issuing yet another three-on-one beatdown.
The Raw preview brought up the idea of Cena finding some partners. It read, "It's clear that anyone who attempts to take on one member of The Club is essentially facing all three of its members at once. Perhaps Cena should call in some reinforcements to help him level the playing field."
Going with a six-man tag team match between Cena's crew and The Club at Battleground would be a wise move. That way, WWE can save Cena vs. Styles II for a more prominent, prestigious show in SummerSlam.
As for the Women's Championship, it doesn't look like WWE is waiting until summer's biggest PPV to deliver the long-awaited Banks vs. Charlotte matchup. Banks returned to TV last Monday, immediately confronting and chasing off the champion.
She eyed Charlotte on SmackDown, as well.
The Raw preview hinted at this narrative developing. It asked, "Will Sasha continue to keep Charlotte on the run? If so, what does that say about the WWE women's champion's chances if and when the two meet for the title?"
That reads like The Boss will be wasting no time in moving into the No. 1 contender's spot. Perhaps, though, WWE will have some precursor to the big Banks-Charlotte clash at Battleground.
Raw's main focus will be on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and building toward a Triple Threat match with one of the bout's key pieces missing.
"JUST ANNOUNCED! Former Shield members Ambrose vs. Reigns vs. Rollins at @WWE Battleground for the WWE Championship.https://t.co/SCoXn88h7k
— Joey Styles (@JoeyStyles) June 21, 2016"
Reigns' suspension forces the company to turn a three-man story into one about Rollins and Ambrose. Just how WWE handles that adjustment and how much it even mentions Reigns will be one of the more intriguing elements of the show.
The Raw preview hinted at Rollins going on the attack in Tampa. It read, "The Architect will need to draw up some new blueprints if he hopes to catch Ambrose off guard this Monday night."
Thus far, the current leg of the rivalry has mostly been a verbal one. Rollins and Ambrose bickered during The Lunatic Fringe's championship celebration last Monday. Ambrose then trampled over Rollins' open challenge on SmackDown days later.
En route to Battleground, all that talking has to morph into trading blows. To distract from Reigns' absence, WWE is sure to speed up that process.
