Texas Rangers Say Farewell to David Ortiz with 'Big Papi' Boots and Belt Buckle

David Ortiz plans to retire after the 2016 MLB season, in case you hadn't heard.

The Boston Red Sox slugger has received gifts in away cities all season, as is customary during retirement tours.

The Red Sox visited Globe Life Park in Arlington on Saturday, and the Texas Rangers came up with some very Texas-esque gifts for Ortiz—namely, custom boots and a belt buckle branded with "Big Papi."

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre and shortstop Elvis Andrus helped present the items to Papi in a pregame ceremony.

The generosity stopped there, however, as Texas throttled Boston 10-3.
