Stanley Wilson II Shot During Attempted Break-In: Latest Details, Reaction

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson II was charged on multiple counts after being shot while attempting to break into a house in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday.  

Wilson, 33, allegedly attempted to enter an unnamed person's house while nude, according to a Multnomah County police report obtained by KGW.com. The homeowner then shot Wilson, who suffered "non-life-threatening injuries."

He was arrested and accused of first- and second-degree attempted burglary and first- and second-degree trespassing. More charges are expected, per KGW.com. Officers said they "do not know why Wilson was at the home or why he was naked."

A 2005 third-round pick out of Stanford, Wilson played three seasons with the Lions. He appeared in 32 games, starting nine. His career ended after he suffered a torn Achilles before the 2008 season.

Wilson is the son of former Cincinnati Bengals running back Stanley Wilson.
