Orioles Star Adam Jones Kicks His Gum in Frustration After Making an Out

Kyle NewportJun 23, 2016

Some baseball players vent their frustrations by yelling at themselves or slamming their equipment to the ground.

Baltimore Orioles star Adam Jones goes about things a little differently.

In the bottom of the sixth inning of Wednesday night's game, Jones popped up the first pitch of his at-bat against San Diego Padres right-hander Carlos Villanueva to left field. Frustrated with the outcome, the five-time All-Star tossed his bat away in disgust and ran out the lazy fly ball.

But that's not all—he also decided to spit out his gum once he got to first base and proceeded to punt it. He may be a baseball player, but he's got great soccer form.

Jones was disgusted at the time, but it was a good night for him and the team. The Orioles center fielder went 2-for-4, scoring two runs in a 7-2 victory.
