Snoop Dogg Throws Out Terrible 1st Pitch Before Braves-Padres Game

When a rapper takes the mound for a ceremonial first pitch, there should be nobody else on the field at the time, for everyone's safety.

No, not even a catcher. Because as we have seen through the years, the pitch never comes anywhere near the plate.

It was two seasons ago that 50 Cent unleashed one of the worst ceremonial first pitches of all time. On Wednesday afternoon at Petco Park, Snoop Dogg had a chance to show off his arm—and he wound up drawing comparisons to 50 Cent.

In the baseball world, that's not a good thing.

Snoop Dogg's offering sailed so far right, he nearly beaned a photographer. Fortunately for Snoop, he has the ability to laugh off an embarrassing moment like this.

The 44-year-old rapper also had a message for San Diego fans before the game:
