Pittsburgh Pirates Introduce Starting Lineup with 'Game of Thrones'-Themed Video

When a sports team introduces its starting lineup for a game, the goal is to get the hometown crowd hyped as game time draws closer.

The Pittsburgh Pirates found a way to do that—by being in touch with the times.

For their intro video, the Pirates paid tribute to Game of Thrones, from the music to the graphics. By doing so, the team was able to unveil its starters and connect with its fans.
