Klay Thompson Thought the Warriors Had 40 Assists, Gets Sad When Sees It Was 15

Klay Thompson was just trying to be positive.

After taking a 118-94 beating at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night, at least one of the Golden State Warriors had to be.

"I mean, we had 40 assists. That's a positive, but uh..." he said while looking at the stat sheet. "Is that right? Nope, never mind—15. Sheesh. Way off."

Golden State had 40 rebounds, which is listed next to the assists, so the mistake is understandable.

Poor Thompson, though. After scoring a team-high 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting, the guy was just trying to find a silver lining.

Instead, he got an emotional punch in the gut.
