Ezekiel Elliott Signs Cowboys Contract, Cardale Jones Asks Him to Settle Debt
Running back Ezekiel Elliott, the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, officially became a member of the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday, when he signed a rookie contract with the team.
Not only does the deal formally make Elliott part of the National Football League, but it will also put a nice chunk of change in his bank account, as Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports the contract is worth $24.9 million.
Of course, a deal like that can bring people out of the woods trying to get a piece.

Elliott's former Ohio State Buckeyes teammate Jones wasted no time asking his buddy to pay off a debt.
Jones, a fourth-round pick of the Buffalo Bills, did what he does best and took to Twitter on Wednesday to have some fun:
It doesn't matter how small the number is—a debt is a debt.
Knowing he can afford it, Elliott is more than happy to settle up with his former quarterback:
What a good friend.
