No Black In Mets

The Mets are way over thinking its uniform changes.

It shouldn’t be about adapting the Giants’ cream color digs or doing away with the classic Mets pinstripes.

Just ditch the abundance of black, man.

Get rid of that silly black third-jersey and the black home caps, too.

Go classic, stay original and style what looks good: Giants orange and Dodger blue.

Riding the trends is how the Mets got in this mess in the first place.

The Reds fell into the same black trap before switching up three years ago.

They eventually abandoned the black and gave a modern twist to a simple red and white uniform.

Now the Reds couldn’t look any better (except in the standings, of course).

That’s all the Mets need to do, no more and no less.
