No Black In Mets

The Mets are way over thinking its uniform changes.
It shouldnโt be about adapting the Giantsโ cream color digs or doing away with the classic Mets pinstripes.
Just ditch the abundance of black, man.
Get rid of that silly black third-jersey and the black home caps, too.
Go classic, stay original and style what looks good: Giants orange and Dodger blue.
Riding the trends is how the Mets got in this mess in the first place.
The Reds fell into the same black trap before switching up three years ago.
They eventually abandoned the black and gave a modern twist to a simple red and white uniform.
Now the Reds couldnโt look any better (except in the standings, of course).
Thatโs all the Mets need to do, no more and no less.

Imagine whatโs like to be Kevin Hart these days.
It doesnโt get any worse than going from Chicago to the absolute worst organization in all of baseball.
The Buccoโs defense commits three first inning errors allowing three unearned runs to score.
Welcome to Pittsburgh, kid.

Dempster is five innings shy from his personal goal of 200 innings pitched, which heโll certainly attain during the season finale on Sunday.
Iโve talked about it before, but Demps deserves a boat load of credit for playing out string with heart.
That goes a long way in becoming a clubhouse leader, and letโs face it, the Cubs are short a few.
I respect Kevin Greggโs desire to play too, but the Cubs are smart to put him down for the year.
You donโt want the reputation of playing injured players in meaningless games during a contract year.
