Terrell Owens Says Sam Bradford Showed 'Sign of a Coward' with Trade Request
Sam Bradford's strained relationship with the Philadelphia Eagles has brought out a legendary NFL voice, as Terrell Owens believes the frustrated quarterback is not doing himself any favors right now.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Owens said it "was not a great move for Sam to want to request a trade being that they were getting a No. 1 pick. For me, that's kind of a sign of a coward, to be honest."
Owens also said that in the potential training camp battle between Bradford and rookie first-round pick Carson Wentz, it is "Bradford's job to lose."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bradford has left no doubt about his unhappiness with the Eagles' decision to trade up in the draft to take Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on April 25 the 28-year-old would no longer show up for their offseason program because he wants to be dealt.
Philadelphia executive vice president of football relations Howie Roseman told ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike (h/t Cork Gaines of Business Insider via Yahoo) that the Eagles were not going to trade Bradford.
It's ironic that Owens is calling Bradford a coward for his actions, since the former All-Pro wide receiver was hardly a model citizen in his playing days. Owens didn't ask for a trade, but the Eagles sent him home during the 2005 season for disrupting the locker room.
In this particular instance, though, Owens may be on to something. Bradford put himself in this position by agreeing to a short-term deal with the Eagles. He hasn't been consistent enough in his injury-plagued six-year career to warrant being solidified as a starter before training camp.
