Perriman Remains Hospitalized

Citing a family member at the hospital, Slater reported Perriman "had extremely high blood pressure." On Wednesday, Slater cited a family member who said there had been "some small signs of progress overnight."
Perriman is the father of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who tweeted out the following message Tuesday evening:

A second-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 1988 NFL draft, Perriman spent three seasons in the Big Easy before he experienced a breakout of sorts with the Detroit Lions.
Following four productive seasons in the Motor City from 1991 to 1994, Perriman broke out for a career-best 1,488 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during the 1995 campaign. The following season, the 5'9", 180-pound wideout notched 94 catches for 1,021 yards and five scores.
Perriman also appeared in five games for the Kansas City Chiefs and eight for the Miami Dolphins during his 10th and final season in the NFL in 1997.
