Late in the final frame, Evgeni Malkin threw a puck on net, and Fehr redirected it into the top right corner at the 4:28 mark. Matt Murray blocked four shots down the stretch to seal the win.

Murray totaled 23 saves, while his counterpart Braden Holtby turned aside 33 of Pittsburgh's 35 attempts. However, Holtby's tremendous effort wasn't enough for the Capitals.

The series is now tied at one victory apiece. Bleacher Report provided scoring updates and highlights.
