Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Memphis Depay, Renato Sanches Rumours
Manchester United are preparing to sell forward Memphis Depay in the summer, and bring Portugal international Renato Sanches to Old Trafford to strengthen their squad.
Simon Mullock of the Mirror reported Depay, who cost the Red Devils £25 million from PSV Eindhoven 12 months ago, is being touted to clubs across Europe by United as the north-west giants look to quickly move the player on.
Depay looked promising in his opening games for United this season, but the winger quickly fell out of favour as his performances stagnated.

The 22-year-old was a prolific goalscorer for PSV, leading them to the Dutch league title last season, but he has contributed only five goals in 2015-16 across all competitions for United, according to WhoScored.com.

Duncan Castles of the Sunday Times said United will turn their attentions to £47 million-rated teenager Renato Sanches from Benfica, but they will face stiff competition from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, and both Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.
Guardiola recently said of Sanches, per Castles: "He is one of the best young players in Europe for his dynamism and personality."
Here is a video of the teenager in action:
Depay has not settled in English football, with his work rate and effectiveness compromised throughout the campaign.
Football writer Richard Jolly recently highlighted the player's lack of potency in a United shirt:

Sanches would bring a renewed energy to United's core, and despite being a different type of player to Memphis, he would bring much-needed focus to the midfield, despite his tender years.
Depay has been a huge disappointment since his arrival, and manager Louis van Gaal has been unable to find the formula to integrate his talents.
New players often struggle in their opening year at Old Trafford, but it's a long way back for the Dutchman if he wants to be a first-team regular in the Premier League.
