Manchester United Transfer News: Neymar Hopes Boosted by Barcelona Exit Rumours
Barcelona are reportedly open to selling Neymar to Manchester United as they are "sick of his attitude" and his perceived inability to perform on big occasions.
That's according to J.J. Pallas of Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia (h/t Colin Harvey of the Daily Star), who further noted the Brazilian's "flashy lifestyle" is also at odds with the club's values.
Harvey reported the Red Devils could meet his £150 million release clause, and, if so, Barca will not stand in the way of a deal or "put up a fight to keep him."

According to Spanish football expert Rafael Hernandez, his "partying" is also wearing thin with the Brazilian Football Confederation, and the forward should also take his share of the blame for Barcelona's collapse in recent weeks:
Indeed, he believes the 24-year-old would benefit from taking a leaf out of Cristiano Ronaldo's book if he is to reach the Real Madrid star's level, or that of team-mate Lionel Messi:
Neymar has been in poor form of late, with no goals or assists to his name since before the international break.
However, he has often scored important goals for Barca this season—he bagged a goal and an assist in the first Clasico this season and netted against Atletico Madrid in September.
He also stepped up admirably during Messi's two-month absence earlier in the campaign and played a crucial role in their UEFA Champion League win last year, scoring in every single match of the knockout phase from the quarter-finals onward.
Neymar's partnership with Messi and Luis Suarez is a joy to behold, and the trio have been in top form in La Liga this year as Bleacher Report UK illustrated:
The Brazilian has 27 goals and 23 assists for the Catalan giants in all competitions this season, and it is tallies like these, along with his infamous skill and trickery, that could transform United—and virtually any other side—into a serious force.
Here are some of his best moments for Barcelona this season:
The club are right to be concerned about his recent dip in form and might even be fearing he will go down the same path as compatriot and Barca legend Ronaldinho.
However, to give up on him so soon seems unlikely as they undoubtedly recognise how valuable an asset Neymar is and can continue to be in the future.
If United do decide to splash the cash on the superstar and meet his buyout clause, there is little Barca can do other than hope he opts to stay—at most they might offer him greater incentive to stay put, but they won't be able to stop him talking with the Premier League outfit.
Neymar has every reason to remain with Barca, but it seems there are areas of his approach to the game that still need to be worked on to become truly invaluable at the Camp Nou.
