Capitals vs. Flyers: Game 3 Live Score, Highlights for 2016 NHL Playoffs
Washington 6, Philadelphia 1 (Washington leads series 3-0)
The Washington Capitals moved within one game of the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 6-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 3 of their first-round series.
Philadelphia seemed to have things going in its favor early as Michael Raffl scored the game's opening goal 57 seconds into the first period. However, that would be one of the few positives for the Flyers as Washington pounced on the power play and sucked all the life out of the Wells Fargo Center.

Marcus Johansson answered Raffl's goal with the first of five power-play goals scored by the Capitals. The four other tallies earned on the man advantage came in the third period by way of Evgeny Kuznetsov, John Carlson, Alex Ovechkin and Jay Beagle.
Carlson's blast from the top of the attacking zone to make it 4-1 moved his personal goal total in the series ahead of Philadelphia's mark as a team. The Washington defender has three goals compared to two from the Flyers.
Ovechkin delivered the final dagger with 5:02 remaining on the power play, while Beagle's goal came during an extended man advantage that was forced by three game misconducts on Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Ryan White and Radko Gudas.
Washington will try for the sweep of Philadelphia in Game 4 on Wednesday.
