The New York Giants appeared to make a subtle statement when the NFL released its schedule Thursday.
Take a look at the initial tweet Big Blue sent out. Pay special attention to the opponents.
Whether it was intentional or not, the Giants used nicknames for all of the teams but one: Washington. Of course, for decades—but especially over the past several years—the mascot of NYG’s division rival has been a source of great controversy.
