Indians SS Francisco Lindor Has Adventure with Pop-Up That Gets Stuck on Catwalk
Tropicana Field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, can be a nightmare for baseball players because the stadium features that can interfere with play.
As a fielder, nothing makes you feel more helpless than tracking a ball and then suddenly losing it. Just look at what happened with Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco during Wednesday night's game against the Rays.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Tampa Bay left fielder Desmond Jennings hit a pop-up foul that would have resulted in the final out of the game at any other stadium with that much foul territory. However, given that it was hit at Tropicana Field, it was no ordinary pop-up.
