
Udonis Haslem Injury: Updates on Heat PF's Foot and Return
Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem was forced to exit Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons with a left-foot injury, according to the team's official Twitter account. However, he's ready to make his return.

Declining Haslem Still Valuable Bench Piece for Heat
Although Haslem's role has been limited all season long, he can still offer the Heat solid effort in short stretches with intense defense and an aggressive demeanor on the glass.
On an adjusted per-36-minute basis, Haslem has averaged 8.3 points, 10.6 rebounds and two assists this season, according to Basketball-Reference.com.
The good news is that Haslem can still make an impact even if he doesn't suit up.
"I've had so many different roles in my career," the 13-year pro said, per the Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman. "I've been a starter. I've been a sixth man. And now my role is coming to the point of where I'm more of a mentor, I'm more of a leader off the floor. But it's still a job. It's still something that I have to do my best at. It's still something that I've got to put effort into."
