Comparing Steve Austin To Randy Orton. Similar Yet Different

Some may say that They dont see anything in common between stone cold and Randy Orton.  But over tha past year i have seen many similarities in both their rise to stardom and their attitude.  Lets compare

RKO and Stunner

Both moves are almost the same, austin just lands in a sitting position while Orton drives his whole body to the ground.

Viper and Rattlesnake

Both men have been given snake nicknames.  Stone Cold actually came up with his while i believe Jim Ross coined "The Viper" for Randy Orton.  The WWE has started really pushing the Viper nickname.  Coincidence?

Mcmahons

Both man have feuded with the mcmahon family.  Austin only has one over on Orton here, he actually gave the stunner to linda while Orton has punted or Rko's every other family member.

Attire

Both men wear trunks with boots and kneepads, usually no elbow pads for either but i remember austin using them towards the end.  Either way they have a similar wardrobe.

Feuds

Both men have had plenty of matches with HHH, some say that Austin and Orton both had their best feuds with HHH. I personally think Austins best feud was with the Rock but Orton hasnt had the chance to face Dwayne in the ring, yet.

Cheers

Both men have been known to recieve many many cheers from audience members despite being heels at the time.  Orton has only been a face for a short while but its only a matter of time before everyone tires of him as a heel.

Legend killers

Orton has been known for taking out many legends in his short career, but Austin perfected the craft of taking out those who are a bit older in the business.  I remember when he stunned JR and the crowd went crazy.  He also gave a couple to Pat Patterson if im not mistaken.

As you can see there are plenty of similarities between the two men without them having to be carbon copies of each other.  this was just something i ahave been thinking about recently and decided to write about it.
