Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Arturo Vidal, Radja Nainggolan Rumours
Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.
According to Sam Long of the Evening Standard, he told Chilean radio station Bio-Bio: "I am very happy here. I have to think about my family and I still have time on my contract."
The midfielder had previously fuelled rumours he could reunite with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge after he said, "If I go to war I would take Conte with me. We will see what happens," per Riath Al-Samarrai of the MailOnline.

Vidal hasn't always been a natural fit in Pep Guardiola's side and struggled for form earlier in the season, but he has improved of late, as Bundesliga expert Clark Whitney noted after his excellent performance against Borussia Dortmund in March:
The 28-year-old put in an exceptional showing against Benfica on Tuesday and made it into Sam Tighe's UEFA Champions League team of the week for Bleacher Report UK:
OptaFranz revealed the outstanding numbers behind his match-winning performance:
A committed and tenacious box-to-box midfielder who can also contribute going forward—he has scored four times and assisted eight this season and twice reached double figures for goals at Juventus—Vidal has all the necessary attributes to thrive in the Premier League.
With his first campaign at the Allianz Arena looking set to end on a high both personally and with silverware for the team, it seems Vidal will not be moving on just yet.
An alternative would have been Roma's Radja Nainggolan, but according to Adrian Kajumba of the Mirror, after making contact with the Giallorossi, Chelsea have "baulked" at their £40 million asking price for the Belgian.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano highlighted the midfielder as a target for Conte in the wake of his appointment:
Gianluca Di Marzio's David Amoyal is an admirer of the 27-year-old:
According to Squawka, the tireless midfielder has won 42 tackles and made 36 interceptions in Serie A this season, as well as completing 61 per cent of his take-ons and creating 35 chances.
Here's a look at some of his best moments from the campaign:
Nainggolan is an excellent ball-winner whose ability to pick out his team-mates allows him to regain possession and quickly turn defence into attack, and like Vidal, his physicality would be well-suited to the rigours of English football.
A £40 million "opening asking price" is a large fee even for a player of his quality, though, so Chelsea's reluctance is understandable. Nevertheless, the Blues are desperately in need of central-midfield reinforcements, and they'll need to be prepared to splash the cash if they want to bring in a top-class player.
