Boxer Adrien Broner entered a not guilty plea Tuesday on felony aggravated assault and robbery charges after allegedly stealing $12,000 from a man at gunpoint.

TMZ Sports reported Broner was released on $100,000 bail after turning himself in Monday. He posted a picture on his Instagram account after posting bail:

According to police records obtained by Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, Broner is accused of assaulting a man outside of a bowling alley on Jan. 21 after losing money to him in bowling games. The man was knocked unconscious in the melee. It's unclear if he suffered any further injuries.

"Adrien seems to have a penchant for walking around town and slugging people," said Chris Finney, the attorney for Christopher Carson, the man punched, per Sharon Coolidge and Kevin Grasha of the Cincinnati Enquirer. "We want it to stop."

Broner, 26, earned a ninth-round TKO victory over Ashley Theophane in their light welterweight bout Friday. The fight went on as scheduled despite Broner's impending arrest. DC Boxing and Wrestling Commission officials scrambled to make the fight happen, getting assurances from Broner's camp that he would turn himself in this week.

Broner was stripped of his junior welterweight title before the bout for failing to make weight. According to Rafael, he paid Theophane $50,000 so that he would not drop out.
