Real Madrid Fans Take Legal Action Against Florentino Perez over Cup Exit
Two Real Madrid supporters have started legal proceedings against club president Florentino Perez after Los Blancos were thrown out of the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player.
The incident occurred when Denis Cheryshev represented Real in their clash with Cadiz on December 2, despite being suspended from the competition after accruing three yellow cards while playing for Villarreal in 2014/15.
Cadiz promptly lodged a complaint and Real were eliminated from the competition.

According to claimants Raul Gimenez Guillem and Susana Castano Caba, that resulted in the two Real fans being ridiculed, for which they are now claiming moral damages.
"We've had to endure being taunted in cafes and our place of work which has led to bouts of anguish and helplessness," they told AS.
