NXT TakeOver Dallas: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis from Event

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live NXT TakeOver: Dallas coverage for April 1. WWE holds monthly pay-per-view events, so it never feels like there is much time to build up solid storylines.

NXT, on the other hand, has months between these live specials, so the anticipation has reached a boiling point. It's kind of like how WWE was in the '90s.

Here's a look at the final match card, according to WWE.com:

• Apollo Crews vs. Elias Samson
• Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
• Austin Aries vs. Baron Corbin
• The Revival vs. American Alpha (NXT Tag Team Championships)
• Bayley vs. Asuka (NXT Women's Championship)
• Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe (NXT Championship)

For Aries and Nakamura, this marks their first big matches under the WWE banner. Aries performed on a regular episode of NXT already, but this will be the first time the WWE Universe gets to witness what Nakamura has to offer.

Past TakeOvers have seen last-minute additions to the card, so there is a good chance we will see more than these six bouts. And if past events are anything to go by, this will be a great show.

Will the WWE Universe welcome Nakamura with open arms?

Can Aries overcome Corbin's significant size advantage?

Has Bayley met her match in the Japanese sensation, Asuka?

Will Jason Jordan and Chad Gable be the ones to finally dethrone Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder?

And lastly, who will walk out of Dallas with the NXT Championship?

This event is starting a little later than normal thanks to the hectic WrestleMania week schedule and the local time in Dallas where the show is taking place, so plan accordingly.
