In the main event of WrestleMania 32, Triple H will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, but there is concern that wrestling fans will reject the matchup.

After negative reactions for Reigns in the weeks leading into WrestleMania, proper booking at the biggest pay-per-view of the year could salvage the main event storyline. If Reigns is destined to walk out of Dallas as the next world champion, proper booking on Sunday is imperative.

Here are the best possible outcomes for the battle between Triple H and Reigns at WrestleMania 32:

Roman Reigns Turns Heel

The reality that Reigns is receiving heavy boos is undeniable, and if WWE wants to roll with the punches moving forward, the possibility of a heel turn for Reigns is an intriguing option heading into WrestleMania 32.

There are several intriguing ways to turn Reigns heel, but the clearest option would be to have Reigns win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and then attack The Rock. After coming to his aid, The Rock could celebrate the victory with his cousin before Reigns attacks him from behind.

Wrestling fans love The Rock for the most part, and with such a negative response to Reigns recently, it would be a clear indication of a character shift. With the balance of power in the company also up for grabs during the match between Shane McMahon and The Undertaker, Reigns could help play a role as the top heel in the new regime moving forward.

If Vince McMahon and The Authority are still in power following WrestleMania 32, Reigns aligning himself with the group and taking on a similar role to that of Seth Rollins would make for an interesting storyline.

WWE Creative has proved it can't properly book Reigns as a top face on a consistent basis, so the hope would be that it's easier to make him entertaining as a bad guy. After a while, though, Reigns would turn face organically as fans begin to support him.

The Rock Helps Roman Reigns Win

If WWE is dead set on leaving Reigns as a top face despite the crowd reactions, the officials must do whatever is needed to make wrestling fans like him. With lackluster mic skills and a limited move set, how his character is portrayed at WrestleMania 32 will be the deciding factor.

While it didn't work in Philadelphia when Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble, adding The Rock to this match as an advocate on the outside of the ring would help amplify the excitement level for a bout that many people are concerned will bomb as the main event.

Wrestling fans want to see The Rock at WrestleMania in some form or fashion, and with the family relationship between the two men, this could be WWE's best chance to get the hardcore and casual fans on Reigns' side.

With The Rock on the outside of the ring, Triple H could come face-to-face with The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment, and the two could exchange blows. With The Rock helping Reigns win the match, the WWE Universe would likely be more accepting of the championship victory.
