MLB 16 The Show: Anthony Rizzo Talks Overall Rating, Cubs' Biggest Gamers, More
The 2016 campaign is perhaps the most anticipated in Chicago Cubs history. Long-suffering fans are waiting with bated breath for the season to begin in hopes of experiencing the jubilation that accompanies a World Series championship.
In a less dramatic and more lighthearted way, fans of MLB The Show are also eagerly awaiting the release of this year's version of the franchise. The Show has consistently been among the most beloved sports video game series over the past 10 years.
The newest version hits stores March 29, and it will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 exclusively. The Cubs' Anthony Rizzo is one of a handful of stars chosen as a primary endorser of the game.

Rizzo and other stars appear in action poses on in-game loading screens, and he's also one of the captains in a new wrinkle added to The Show's Diamond Dynasty mode.
With such high expectations surrounding the Cubs and The Show, Rizzo is the right guy to talk to.
I had an opportunity to speak with Rizzo about his involvement with the game, how much he and his teammates play and his overall rating. He's rated a 92 overall, which is fourth among first basemen.
Rizzo also talked to me about the game's realism and more.
Rizzo's likeness was rendered accurately in last year's game, but super-teammates Kris Bryant, Addison Russell and Jorge Soler have all undergone cosmetic upgrades for this year's version.
