Boris Johnson Says He's Keen to Bring WrestleMania to London

The tantalising prospect of WrestleMania coming to London has been given fresh impetus after the city's mayor, Boris Johnson, voiced his approval on Twitter.

Johnson was taking part in a Q&A session on the social media network when he was asked if he'd be open to the idea of bringing WWE's premier event to the United Kingdom:

The man widely touted to succeed David Cameron as the nation's prime minister did not disappoint, even revealing his own great-grandfather was a fairground wrestler:

Johnson will be stepping down as mayor of London in May, but he may have just given his successor an interesting idea for how to get the people onside early.
