WWE WrestleMania 32: Undercard Matches Fans Deserve to See

Aaron BowerMar 7, 2016

Although there are two or three huge main event matches scheduled for WWE WrestleMania 32, there are definitely some undercard matches planned that will really catch the eye.

The undercard is often overlooked when it comes to Mania given the star power at the top end of the card, but this year, with a depleted roster, the undercard will be more important than ever.

At the moment, there aren't many matches confirmed for the undercard—but here are the ones fans deserve to see.

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

The plans for the Intercontinental Championship are still clouded in mystery, but they should potentially become clearer after Roadblock this weekend.

Kevin Owens may yet defend his title in a multi-man match at WrestleMania, but the smart choice would be to bring back his hottest feud from NXT—and have him work with Sami Zayn.

Zayn is well overdue a move up to the main roster, and when he does step up, his first stop should be the revival of his feud against Owens.

It would be a feud that would catch the eye at Mania, and if you throw a stipulation into the mix too, it would be a contender for match of the night.

It wouldn't really matter who wins—as WWE would be foolish to think about moving away from this rivalry after WrestleMania. This has the potential to be one of the hottest feuds of the year, and it should start at WrestleMania.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho

Even though WWE is teasing a tag team between Chris Jericho and AJ Styles, you get the feeling they could well split in the future.

If they do split up before WrestleMania—as they look wasted in the tag division—then a match between the two at the pay-per-view would make sense.

WWE hasn't quite hit the mark with its booking of Styles since he debuted at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, so a final match against Y2J seems like the only option at the moment.

Even though they've had a number of bouts in the past, this final and defining match in their rivalry would be one fans will want to see.

Their matches to date have been enjoyable—so you can imagine that it will be a brilliant fight at Mania if they do clash again.

Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch

Three of the Four Horsewomen will clash at WrestleMania, after it was confirmed Charlotte will defend her Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match.

It will be one of the best Divas matches ever to grace WrestleMania, and it will likely crown a new champion, most probably Sasha Banks.

The technical ability of all three women make it an eagerly anticipated match, but there's also plenty of subplots within the bout, too.

Who will win and perhaps face a rivalry against Bayley in the coming months, assuming she steps up to the main roster?

Will Sasha and Becky's friendship come to an explosive end? And what about the influence of Ric Flair in the match?

There are so many storylines within the bout that it's one fans will not want to miss.
