Bret Hart Determined to Be Cancer-Free, Says Jim Ross
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart appears to no longer have prostate cancer, according to former WWE announcer Jim Ross.
During an interview on 77 WABC Radio's The Gunz Show (via TMZ Sports), Ross said Hart texted him to let him know doctors "removed the cancer by removing his prostate. His cancer is a non-issue now, thank god."
Ross also said the "issues are resolved and addressed ... so that's the good news about Bret Hart."

On Feb. 1, Hart announced on his official Facebook page that he had been diagnosed with cancer before vowing to defeat the disease:
"I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that's kept me going this long already. Love is my weapon and I've got much of it around me all the time, for which I'm truly blessed and eternally grateful. My children, grandchildren, and my loving wife Steph have been and will constantly be at my side. I refuse to lose, I will never give in or give up, and I will win this battle or die trying.
"
Hart's cancer diagnosis was just the latest in a series of health problems following his retirement. He retired in 2000 due to a series of concussions, then had a stroke two years later after a bike accident that left the left side of his body immobile for a period of time.
In 2010, 13 years after the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" against Shawn Michaels, Hart made his official return to WWE and set up a match against Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 26. The Excellence of Execution got revenge on the WWE chairman at the biggest stage wrestling has to offer.
The 58-year-old Hart is one of the most accomplished and highly regarded wrestlers in history. In addition to being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006, he won the WWE championship five times and WCW championship twice.
