Klopp Patching Up Injury-Hit Defence
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp needs every centre-back he can get his hands on, considering midfielder Lucas Leiva had to act as a makeshift defender during the cup final, with Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren both sidelined.
Lovren is back, but Lucas picked up an injury in that final. Fitness issues continue to disrupt Klopp's defence.
Kolo Toure and Steven Caulker represent additional options for the Merseyside club, but Klopp will hope Sakho's return acts as a first step toward getting his best defence back out on the pitch.
