The Internet Mocks Louis van Gaal's Touchline Dive During Man Utd vs. Arsenal

It was the moment of Manchester United's 3-2 win over Arsenal on Sunday. (Sorry, Marcus Rashford.)

United fans had long hoped to see some more passion from manager Louis van Gaal on the touchline at Old Trafford, and the Dutchman made sure the wait was well and truly worth it by spectacularly diving to the ground as the clock ticked toward 90 minutes on Sunday.

Everything about the scene, from fourth official Mike Dean's look of bemusement to the glee of the onlooking home fans, was superb.

Van Gaal said after the match that he had apologised to the officials, and as a result of his theatrics, he needed to visit a dry cleaner.

The fifth-placed Red Devils host Watford on Wednesday before visiting West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
