Premier League footballers driving expensive cars is no new phenomenon, but Daniel Sturridge might just have set the bar a little higher after turning up for Liverpool training in a £230,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith.

The former Chelsea striker has struggled for fitness this season, making just six appearances in the league, but that doesn't appear to have done his off-field swagger any harm, judging by his ride.

According to Top Gear, the Wraith has a 6.6-litre, twin-turbo V12 engine and can go from 0-62 mph in just 4.6 seconds. Not bad.
