"Following Mr. McMahon’s blockbuster declaration that The Phenom will battle Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania to decide if The Boy Wonder will assume control of Monday Night Raw, the WWE Universe has been speculating on what the legendary Superstar will have to say about his role in the McMahon family power struggle.
"
Marc Middleton of WrestlingInc.com noted The Undertaker will "promote his WrestleMania 32 Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon."
Mark Critchley of the Independent said it was McMahon who set the stage for the clash when he questioned the management of his sister, Stephanie, and her husband, Triple H.
McMahon apparently "interrupted the presentation of the Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award to his sister" and "claimed to have cut a deal with his father and majority owner Vince McMahon, allowing him to retain 'his place in line'" in the company, per Critchley.
Critchley noted Shane McMahon was granted control of WWE Monday Night Raw if he wins his Hell in the Cell contest against The Undertaker. Vince McMahon selected The Undertaker as the opponent.
The Undertaker saw his 21-match winning streak at WrestleMania events snapped by Brock Lesnar two years ago.
